topic 8 : data warehouse

hye guys, saya baru je ada idea nak up date blog, apa lagi terus bukak laptop nak up date pasal topic 8. semalam mimpi nak mengajar la.. tapi saya bukan nya cekgu dah hehe.. cuma jadi juru comment tentang ape yang saya  belajar..

 data warehouse not something that you think about house okay, but it story about something that i learned in class IT.. not too difficult to comment about all this thing because i understand it just about how we want to store the large information into data. the primary reason why data warehouse exist because it want to make the all information that is collected from different operational database go to single repository. 

the purpose is to make employees easy to make decision. 

that is very good technique for any company that apply it in their organization. bayangkan  maklumat yang x tahu dari mana datangnya dapat di kelaskan dengan tepat.

in this topic also have talk about 

why we do cleansing and scrubbing  !

sometime not all information that they store is accurate or complete..

THEY USE RELATIONAL STRATEGIES

relational strategies  mean that they use relational database model which is help company to store 

information in the form of logically related with two-dimension tables

 in relational database, they have entities and attributes 

entity used for describe person, thing, transaction, or event happened in the information storing 

attributes called field or columns. which is characteristic of properties in the entities

this relational have many advantage such as:

1. increased flexibility
2. increased scalability and performance 
3. reduced information redundancy 
4. increased information integrity (quality) 
5. increased information security                                                                                                                                      

each benefit i don't really understand because of too much explanation. saturated is reached.

topic 6 : valuing organizational information

assalamualaikum semua hadirin yang membanjiri blog saya nie.. cite kita masih panjang tau pasal IT nie. masih banyak benda yang nak di commentkan kat blog nie ha.. walaupon kadang2 rase macam xperlu pon di ceritakn. tapi disebabkan saya seorang sangat rajin, buat la jugak bila ade mase free nie kan. dah tanggungjawab katenya.. x boleh la nak mengeluh je kerja banyak la ape lah.. yang penting kita berjaya bersama2 akhir sem nati.
hari nie nak cite benda simple dalam topic 6 iaitu pasal quality of information, timeliness of information, and transaction or analytical of information. 

ape yang saya faham tentang topic nie adalah setiap information company tu ade 3 level. yang pertama adalah information granualities. benda nie bercerita tentang detail,suumary, and aggregate. contohnya : report yang di buat oleh setiap saleperson. 
yang kedua plak pasal information formats. format yang macam mane? 
format yang ade cakap tentang document, presentation, and database. 
yang ke tiga plak pasal information levels 
 cakap pasal individu dalam company, department, and enterprise 


pah2 saya cuma faham pasal quality of information je.. information tu ade high quality and low quality. 
high quality tu information yang bagus dan patut di practisekan setiap company. contohnya : keunikan,ketepatan, dan kelengkapannya...  

low quality plak yang company patut hindarkan contohnya :
information missing, inaccurate, and incomplete.
