for example : the process to validate course and register course
management information systems (MIS) : called as business function and academic discipline to cover people, technologies and procedures to solve the problems
its also same with the marketing, accounting, human resources, operation management
marketing : who promote the productions
accounting : provide information about money needed
human resources : management of employees
operation management : manage systems in transfer input to output
you may also have to know about :
- data,information, and business intelligence
- IT resources
- IT cultures
for example : date, number phone,
information : data converted into a meaningful and useful contact
for example : best customer, worth customer, best selling item
business intelligence : used to gather,provide access to, and analyze data information to make a decision
IT resources : people,information technology,information
IT cultures have 4:
1. information- functional cultures ( manager keep the secret of the information)
2. information -sharing cultures ( manager share the information with others department)
3. information - inquiring cultures ( manager seek for a information to understand the future)
4. information -discovery cultures ( manager seek ways to create competitive advantages)
